What better way to celebrate the impending responsibility of marriage, than with your friends and family, whizzing down a zipline and swinging across a cargo net. Enjoy the buzz of the challenge, live a little! And feel free to dress up with a theme, but remember that skirts cause a problem with a harness! (this note is for the stags….). We guarantee you will be talking about your day at Zipit for years to come, with amazing photos to match!
We recommend staying for 3 hours, but we know that schedules can be tight. However, we would say that 2 hours just isn’t enough to get the full experience, as a 30-45 minutes safety briefing session is required. Circuits range from only 1 metre – 20 metres high, suitable for all levels of fitness, so there’s no excuse to leave the in-laws behind! Any spectators who decide not to participate can be chief photographer, with access to everywhere the group is, following from the ground. But remember there is no age barrier, so parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents have no excuse for sitting this one out.

Brilliant activity. From start to finish we had a great time at zipit. With children ranging from 6 to 16 there was more than enough for everyone. The staff were fantastic and got us up and running in no time. If you felt like you couldn’t do one of the activities, they reassured you to keep going and made you feel safe. We will definitely be going back and encourage anyone to give it a go if you’re near lough key.
