Adventure Starts Here
A day that pleases everyone in the family – is it possible? Yes, with Zipit Forest Adventures, children from 7 upwards can participate in an unforgettable family day, guaranteed full of adventure. Brimming with fun and excitement, there’s something for the whole family so come and experience the most breathtaking outdoor activity in Ireland in a fun and safe environment.
All 8 of us (8 to 40 yrs) had a ball.... The instructors put us all at ease and the harness design ensured that we could enjoy the experience without worry.
I’ve 2 teenage boys and they cannot get enough of Zipit..very hard to find an activity to suit whole family but this is it. Can’t wait for our next visit already.
Had two boys aged 8 and 11 who had in their words "the best day of their life".
And don’t worry if your mates are busy or the kids have other plans – come on your own!
Don’t forget to pre-book online, to avoid sad faces on the day. We hate disappointing your spontaneous ideas but we only have a limited number of harnesses and in peak season, spaces can fill up a couple of days in advance.
All children under 18 must be supervised by an adult, either participating or on the ground. We do ask that all supervisors attend and listen to the Safety Briefing. Adults supervising more than one child must keep all children within their view, and on the same circuit. Unsupervised children will be taken down from the circuit, without refund.
Take a look at the Pricing Tab to check what circuits everyone can do. Remember that age is the priority with no exception made for ability. Whilst an adult can do the lower circuits, children who are below the age shown, cannot complete the higher circuits, even with a parent. We do have a strict policy on this, so please don’t ask us to make an exception.
Bear in mind that if you have children on different circuits, and only one parent/guardian supervising, you will need to take down one of the children whilst an older child continues on, or maybe ask a grandparent or friend to supervise the little one.
Just to let you know that if you are a parent visiting with a 7-8 year old, you are able to walk around on the ground and reach the child for re-assurance, so it isn’t always necessary to participate. Unless, of course, you wish to complete the other circuits, once your child has finished a few laps of the green circuit!
- Minimum age is 7 years.
- Minimum Height is 1m.
- Maximum Weight is 120kg (leg strap dimensions can also limit fitting of harness)
Our parks use a safety system which involves the use of magnets. Magnets may interfere with the operation of pacemakers and ICD’s. We recommend that you check with your doctor, before making a booking.
Unfortunately, due to safety risks anyone who is pregnant is unable to participate.
Dress appropriately for physical exercise in an outdoors environment. We recommend layers, with a light rain jacket, even in the summer! Padded jackets should not be worn. Runners are ideal, no open toed shoes or sandals. Little hands can get very cold in winter, so bring a pair of woolen gloves for extra warmth. You may need to bring insect repellant and sun cream during certain months.
