When you have done the wine tasting, the paintballing and the trust exercise and you're looking for something new, head on down to Zipit Forest Adventures for 4 hours of fun and adventure. Circuits range from only 1 metre – 20 metres high, suitable for all levels of fitness.
The activity was fun, different, beautiful scenery.
Staff were absolutely amazing. My arms are sore today!! Great craic!
Fantastic day out. Enough of a challenge for everyone!
Be Robin Hood, Peter Pan, Tarzan or whichever super hero adventurer you want to be (personally, I’m Indiana Jones, but that’s our little secret). Let the adrenalin junkies get their fix and give them their moment to pound their chests whilst others may prefer to set their own challenges on the lower circuits.
A 30 - 45 minute safety briefing is required, before you can move on through the circuits, so if you only have 2 hours to spend, you really will only get one circuit completed. Allow the time to make your day so much more enjoyable.
Mid-week is always quieter (excluding June, July and August) and if you have a minimum number of 15 people, we will open the course, even if the booking calendar shows we are closed. So give us a call and we will always do our best to accommodate you, bearing in mind that we do have to close before it gets dark.
Picnic areas are scattered throughout the forest and we have an outdoor seating area, for those who fancy a rest in between challenges.
Companies such as EMC, Apple, Facebook and Google have all organised successful Off-Sites to Zipit.
Late arrivals cannot be guaranteed admissio, especially in peak season. If you are having lunch beforehand, please resist alcohol and wait until after your Zipit experience. Anyone under the influence of drink or drugs will be turned away, with no refund. We have a zero tolerance policy.
Our parks use a safety system which involves the use of magnets. Magnets may interfere with the operation of pacemakers and ICD’s. We recommend that you check with your doctor, before making a booking.
Unfortunately, due to safety risks anyone who is pregnant is unable to participate.
Dress appropriately for physical exercise in an outdoors environment. We recommend layers, with a light rain jacket, even in the summer! Runners are ideal, no open toed shoes or sandals. You may need to bring insect repellant and sun cream during certain months.
For further information on food and toilet facilities, select a location from one of the 3 courses below.

10% discount for groups of 10 or more when booked online.
If your group is 10 people or less, you book online. We recommend booking for your maximum numbers and payment must be made in full. But you can reduce these numbers up to 48 hours before the date of your visit and get a full refund.
And check the weather too, because we go ahead in the rain!
Call us on 051 858008 or complete our Group Contact Form and we will check availability for you.
We require a €100 booking deposit at time of booking.
Confirmation of numbers must be made 48 hours in advance, and payment made in full. Please understand that harnesses have been reserved for every person booked, and cannot be re-sold last-minute. We also roster staff in accordance with number of people on the course. If you book for your highest numbers and there is a large drop in the meantime, please let us know as early as possible, so we can re-sell the reserved harnesses.

Zipit Forest Adventures is a member of the European Ropes Course Association (ERCA) and adheres to EN 15567-2 Sports and recreational facilities - Ropes courses - Part 2: Operation Requirements
This European Standard applies to the operation of ropes courses and specifies the operational requirements to ensure an appropriate level of safety and service when used for either recreation, training, education or therapeutic purposes.
Our harness design protects you from accidentally unclipping from the circuit, ensuring that your safety is paramount.
All of our Instructors are European Rope Course Association (ERCA) trained with the following certifications:
ERCA Training is undertaken by either our own staff who have been trained as a Trainer or an external UK specialist company. All final assessments and certifications are undertaken by the external company.
All our staff have undertaken an on-line child protection course and are garda vetted.
We have a policy of informing participants of the nature of risk associated with our activities through our Waiver and safety rules.
Our Safety Briefing (approx. 45 minutes) is carried out by our qualified instructors and is mandatory for all customers wishing to participate on our courses. Our instructors monitor customers completing the Safety Briefing circuit and are patrolling throughout the park should any assistance be needed during your visit.
Our minimum age requirement is strictly enforced. All children under 18 must be supervised by an adult, either participating or on the ground.
Through strict adherence to the ERCA requirements and continual investment in the most current Personal Protective Equipment we are confident that all risks are minimised.
