Forest Birthday Parties Across Ireland

Birthday parties at Zipit run a bit differently to soft play.

Three hours in the treetops. Ziplines, rope bridges, climbing walls, and circuits that range from 1 metre off the ground to 20 metres up in the canopy. Kids (and adults) work through the courses at their own pace, challenge themselves, and finish the day properly tired.

We have four locations, each with its own character. Pick the one closest to you, or choose based on what suits your group.

Choose Your Location

Dublin (Tibradden Wood): Thirty minutes from the city centre, up in the Dublin Mountains. The most popular option for Dublin families. Minimum age 7. Picnic benches on site for cake and food after the session.

Cork (Farran Park): Twenty minutes from Cork City, set in 45 hectares of lakeside forest. Minimum age 7. A proper forest setting that feels a world away from town.

Wicklow (Djouce Park): The only ZipIt location with a low ropes course for children aged 3 and up. If you’ve got younger kids in the group, this is the one. Deep in the Wicklow Mountains, 45 minutes from Dublin.

Roscommon (Lough Key): The only option west of the Shannon. Minimum age 7. Make a full day of it; the forest park has walking trails, a visitor centre, and plenty of space to explore.

What's Included

Every party booking includes:

A 30-minute safety briefing to kick things off, followed by full access to all circuits for the remainder of your three-hour session. Picnic benches are available afterwards so the group can sit together once you’re done. Bring your own food, or grab drinks and snacks from our cabin.

Group sizes from 6 to 60+. For larger parties, the group will be spread across circuits throughout the session to keep things moving as smoothly as possible.

Quick Answers

What's the minimum age?

Age 7 at Tibradden Wood, Farran Park, and Lough Key. Age 3 at Djouce Park (low ropes course for younger children).

Can adults join in?

Yes. Most parents have a go. Grandparents too.

What about food?

We recommend bringing your own food and anything you’d like for the celebration, such as cake and candles. There are some picnic benches on site for park visitors to use, and drinks and snacks are available to buy on site.

What if it rains?

We run in all weather except extreme weather warnings. The forest canopy provides cover. Bring waterproofs.

How far in advance should we book?

Two weeks is ideal for weekend parties. Weekdays are usually easier to book at shorter notice.
